Class Fees

Music Together
10-week Semester

$190 (first child)
Additional sibling is $120.00.
3rd child is free

Registration fee: $5 for returning and $15 for new families.

Early full payment discount $10.00 by March 22, 2012. Discounts may only be used on full semester tuition.

All registrations received after March 23, 2012 must add $5.00 late fee.

Infants

Infants under 8 months attend free with registered sibling. At 8 months, sibling fee begins.

Late Fees

All registrations received after first class, add $5.00 late fee.

Deposit

Send in a $50.00 deposit or full payment with registration to reserve your place in a class. Please remember, if there is only one class you are interested in, register as soon as possible. All classes that are not filled may be cancelled.

I would like to ask all of you who do not need to pay by credit card to please pay by check. If enough of you do so I will be able to continue to offer discounts. Minimum of $50 to pay by credit card. All credit card payments must be in full, or, if you pay the $50 deposit, the balance must be paid by check at the first class.

Refunds

Tuition refunds will only be given with a written request, prior to class starting date. Under exceptional circumstances, talk to me. If you pay by credit card and I must cancel the class time slot (because of low enrollment or any other reason) you will only be reimbursed your payment minus the credit card processing fee.

Additional Information

Make Ups

If you have vacation plans and need to miss one class you can take $10 off the total fee with date notification when registering of the class you will miss. Or: Reschedule the class that will be missed in another running class, to be made up.

If you will be missing class because of illness and want to make it up, you must contact me at (845) 863-0636 before 8:30 am the day of the class. I have an open make-up policy. If you don't notify me, you will not be allowed to make up that class. All classes missed may be made up on a space-available basis, within the current semester. If you know in advance that you will miss a class, let me know so I can fill your spot that day with someone else who needs a make up.

Bringing Guests to Class

Unregistered siblings or children under 6: Siblings are always welcome. Each family has one gratis class per semester. After that the sibling fee of $12 per class applies. You don't need to ask to bring them. They must participate, however—they can't sit and play their Gameboys. Bringing siblings to class may be used in exchange for unused make ups.

Other visitors: All aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmothers and grandfathers are always welcome but they, too, must participate and not just watch. Try not to bring more than two extra people at once, and please give me a little advance notice.

Photographs

In addition to being a musician and music teacher, I am a photographer. One of my great joys is to capture the unique personalities and expressions of children in beautiful photographs. As a mother, I know that mothers( and fathers) rarely, if ever, appear in photos with their children. Parents are always taking the photos, so there's usually one of them missing! As your music teacher, I have the opportunity to observe the tender nuanced interplay between parent and child every time you come to class. As a mother, I know how precious it is when those moments are captured in a photograph. As a gift from my heart, I would like to offer one of my photographs as a free gift to you. In week 5 photos will be taken following class and will be given out at the final class. They may also be shared through my Smugmug.com account under "Julianab". All photos are password protected.
